Here is the ranking of hands as used in the casino table game of Three Card Poker. Cards are drawn from a standard 52 card deck without replacement. In Three Card Poker a three card straight is higher than a three card flush, because the probability of a flush is higher when three cards are dealt.
1. Straight FlushAll three cards are in sequence and all the same suit with Ace-King-Queen being the highest. Ties are broken by the highest ranked card in the hand except 3 is used for a 3, 2, Ace straight flush.
2. Three of a Kind All three cards are of the same face value (different suits). Ties are broken by the rank of the three cards.
3. Straight All three cards are in sequence, but not all in the same suit. Ties are broken by the highest ranked card in the hand except 3 is used for a 3, 2, Ace straight.
4. Flush All three cards are in the same suit, but not all in a sequence. Ties are broken by rank of the highest card, if still tied by the rank of the second highest card and if still tied by rank of the third highest card.
5. Pair Two cards of the same face value. Ties are broken by rank of the paired cards and if still tied by rank of the unpaired card.
6. NothingThree cards of different rank and suit, not in sequence.
